2. REFLECTIVE WRITING 

This project is a collection of my assignments from the first few weeks of this semester, and it effectively reflects my learning outcomes. The collage was the task theme for Project 1. I completed the physical collage smoothly. To better accomplish this task, I reviewed many collage works from other artists and previous students. These works either possessed a strong narrative quality or achieved a visually appealing composition through the combination of different graphic elements. With narrative and composition as my goals, I successfully completed the physical collage. However, I encountered difficulties when creating the digital collage. Because we were only allowed to use the provided image elements, I had to hesitantly experiment with various combinations throughout the process. This made me realize the importance of accumulating experience by viewing more works from accomplished artists.
