1. LECTURE

In this week’s lecture, the teacher reviewed our task progress and drafts, provided feedback, and answered the questions we encountered while completing the tasks, helping us study more efficiently and continue with the tasks.

2.2 Sketch your mock up poster:

In the step of drawing drafts, I created two different drafts based on two screen sizes: foldable screens and regular screens

  • SKETCH #1 (Hand Drawing)
When completing the first hand-drawn draft, I focused on the composition and layout of the poster, so I tried using a black-and-white draft to show the positions and spatial distribution of different elements in the poster.

After finishing the first hand-drawn draft, I had new ideas, so I chose another screen size to create the second draft. This time, on the basis of the composition, I added colors, attempting to present the general effect of the final product at the draft stage.

I showed the professor my two drafts, and after their suggestion, the second hand-drawn draft was selected to move on to the next step of digitization.

In the initial digital draft, I first digitized the elements of the background overview in the draft, excluding the figures.

2.3 Start to develop your poster

2.3.1 Draft the digital poster based on your sketch

In the further digital poster creation based on the draft, I added my photo in accordance with the project requirements and designed two magic lock screen posters, one for foldable screens and the other for regular screens, each in their respective sizes.

3. TUTORIAL

In this project 2B, the assigned design theme we were given is "magic lock screen design". These links showed us examples and requirements for the task, and also provided templates and materials needed to complete the task for download.
